In February 2011 Erin and Leah spoke at the 2011 Science Communicators Association of New Zealand (SCANZ) conference. The conference was titled “Listening to the other side: Non-scientists’ experiences of science”, so they shared ideas from their perspective about what it’s like for artists and curators to work with scientists.
To provide even broader input, as part of their presentation The Busy Nice showed this short video for which they’d interviewed three of the Do You Mind? artists about their experiences. Thanks to Alexander Hoyles, Aaron King-Cole and Aleksandra Petrovic for their time and thoughts.
